About Ceremonies by Lisa Green

Hello, I am Lisa Green, your Ceremony Consultant and Interfaith Officiant! I am a recent graduate of Lafayette College, where I was a writing tutor, asking clients questions, engaging them and helping them put what was in their hearts and minds into powerful words. Talking through every aspect of a prompt, brainstorming and editing are my specialties!

As President of Hillel Society and Interfaith Fellow, I led services, ceremonies and discussions in interfaith, inclusive ways within Hillel and among various faith and spirituality groups on campus. I also interviewed 42 guests on a podcast looking at a person’s life through the lens of religion and spirituality!

Currently, I am pursuing a Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy through the Family Institute through Northwestern University, because I have a dream of helping couples and families build strong relationships and connect! In addition, I am an ordained interfaith Minister, because I want to bring people of all religions, traditions, and spiritual practices together!

Meet (in person or virtually) to discuss your ceremony, focusing on meaningful rituals, traditions, readings, and ideas.
I’ll craft a personalized ceremony based on our discussion and either send it for your approval or present it on your special day, as you prefer.
Answer any questions you have leading up to the ceremony.
Lead the ceremony in a way that personally and specially celebrates your beginning, ending, or transition.
